Klaviyo Pricing: What You Pay for Email, Add-ons and Texts

We have not used Klaviyo ourselves for this page. It is built from Klaviyo's public pricing page and help articles, read on October 20, 2026. Prices change, so check Klaviyo's own pricing page before you rely on a number here.
Short answer
Klaviyo now prices email as the base of every paid plan, and you add other products one at a time. As of October 20, 2026, the Email plan costs $20 a month at 500 profiles, $60 at 2,500, $100 at 5,000, $150 at 10,000 and $400 at 25,000. Billing is monthly. Klaviyo bills you directly, not through your Shopify invoice.
How Klaviyo's pricing is built now
Klaviyo's pricing page opens with "Build your plan" and says email marketing comes standard with every plan. You start with Email, then add other products if you want them. Customer Hub, Social marketing, Reviews, Personalization and text messages are add-ons, and each has its own price.
Paid Klaviyo plans include predictive analytics, and the free plan does not. Klaviyo lists predictive analytics and reporting dashboards as part of the Email plan, which starts at $20 a month at 500 profiles.
If you have seen a Klaviyo Marketing plan quoted elsewhere, Klaviyo's pricing page no longer showed it when we checked on October 20, 2026.
The free plan
Klaviyo's free plan covers up to 250 active profiles and 500 email sends a month. It also includes $5 of mobile messages and $5 of Composer usage each month. Composer is Klaviyo's AI writing assistant. Email support lasts for the first 60 days, and the Klaviyo logo stays on your emails.
Email plan prices
Last verified: October 20, 2026. Prices are Klaviyo's monthly list prices in US dollars.
Klaviyo sets the Email plan price by active profiles. An active profile is anyone Klaviyo can email. That includes shoppers who left an email at checkout without opting in to marketing. Unsubscribed and suppressed profiles do not count.

Klaviyo shows no price at 2,000 profiles. Its nearest steps are 1,500 profiles at $45 and 2,500 at $60.
A first-month offer, with an end date. Until 11:59 p.m. ET on November 30, 2026, Klaviyo offers $19 off the first month of the $20 Email plan at 500 profiles, so the first month costs $1. It applies only to accounts that have not had a paid Klaviyo plan in the past 12 months, and Klaviyo may end it early. After the first month you pay the list price for your profile count, which is $20 at 500 profiles. Klaviyo says the discount is lost if the account is downgraded, paused, or terminated during that first month.

These are the add-on prices Klaviyo showed on October 20, 2026, at the sizes listed.

Klaviyo shows no Social marketing price below 10,000 profiles. If your list is smaller, ask Klaviyo what it would cost before you plan around it.
Text messages
As of October 20, 2026, Klaviyo shows $15 a month for 1,000 US toll-free texts and $125 a month for 10,000. The price shown already includes carrier fees. The toll-free number is free. A short code costs extra, and Klaviyo does not publish that price. Every Klaviyo account gets $5 of mobile messages a month.
Worked examples
These are our own sums from Klaviyo's list prices on October 20, 2026, before any offer. They are not quotes from Klaviyo.
- 2,500 profiles. Email alone is $60 a month, with 25,000 emails. Adding Customer Hub makes $80. Adding 1,000 texts to Email alone makes $75.
- 5,000 profiles. Email alone is $100 a month, with 50,000 emails. With Customer Hub it is $120. With 1,000 texts it is $115.
- 10,000 profiles. Email alone is $150 a month, with 100,000 emails. With Customer Hub and Social marketing it is $220. With 1,000 texts it is $165, and with 10,000 texts it is $275.
Social marketing is not added at 2,500 or 5,000 profiles, because Klaviyo shows no price below 10,000. None of these stores qualifies for the $19 offer, which covers 500 profiles only.
How billing works
Klaviyo bills monthly only. You pay in advance, on the date you started paying, and Klaviyo shows no annual option.
If you pass your profile tier, Klaviyo keeps sending. It moves you to a plan that covers your profiles at the next billing cycle. If you hit your monthly send limit, you choose one of three paths: pay for extra sends as you go, upgrade your plan, or stop sending until the next cycle.
Customer Hub and Personalization move up and down with your profile count.
Cancelling and downgrading
You can cancel one plan or your whole account. Cancelling your account keeps your data, and you can reactivate it as a free account later. Closing your account deletes everything, so export your profiles, templates and reports first.
Downgrades start at the next billing cycle. Klaviyo gives no refund for the rest of a cycle. If you cancel texts, Klaviyo turns off every flow that has a text step, including the emails in those flows.

Klaviyo is rated 4.7 stars from more than 3,300 reviews on the Shopify App Store, checked October 20, 2026.
Who this pricing may suit
Klaviyo's pricing may fit you if:
- You want to start with email only and add other products later, one at a time.
- Your list is near one of the published tiers, so you can see your monthly cost in advance.
- You want predictive analytics, which comes with any paid plan.
- You are comfortable with a separate monthly bill from Klaviyo, outside your Shopify invoice.
It may fit less well if:
- You want Social marketing on a list under 10,000 profiles, because Klaviyo shows no price there.
- You would rather pay once a year, because Klaviyo bills monthly only.
